Lee, is being investigated by prosecutors over allegations that she had received cash and lavish gifts worth some 53-thousand U.S. dollars over the last 18 months.
Lee flatly denies the charges.
The scandal could take a heavy toll on the newest political party on the scene.
It had been steadily gaining support with its brand of transparent and warm conservatism,-- after splintering off from the main opposition Liberty Korea Party amid a factional feud late last year.
