Hi, I’m Emma from the Cincinnati Children’s Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program. I am going to tell you about what to expect in the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program. A lot of the things you saw in the previous videos apply here, but I want to highlight the differences that make our brain injury rehabilitation program special.

As part of our brain injury program, our team will take many steps to help promote brain healing and recovery. The recovery journey will be different for each patient, and some steps may take longer than others, but our team will be there to support you every step of the way.

The effects of a brain injury vary from person to person. It may affect memory, cognition, communication and movement. It can also affect personality and behavior. This is just the start of the recovery journey. We are here to help ensure that everyone has the best recovery possible. Your goals and recovery will be unique just for you.

From the first evaluation to the outpatient treatment plan, this is just the start of the journey of brain injury recovery. Our team is here to help support you and help guide you on the best path for your child and their unique injury. Remember, no two paths are the same, but we will be here to help you every step of the way.
