Recently, Mercedes-Benz officially withdrew from the shareholders of Shenzhen Tengshia Automobile, transferring its 10% stake to BYD. This marks the end of the 14-year collaboration between Mercedes and BYD in car manufacturing, and it also means that Tengshia is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of BYD Group.
