A crazy short session Barbel Fishing on the River Lea. We go rolling meat for Barbel and Chub, one of my favourite methods. I love roving catching Barbel from small rivers like this. It's jungle warfare and a hell of a lot of fun. The rigs and bait application are so beautifully simple and you can place a bait in spots that are tricky using any other technique.
I was sent a few products to check out including the Korum Barbel Reel Line and the Grappler Hooks which both coped with a brutal Barbel session very well.
My favourite bits n pieces for Barbel fishing, some of which are used in the video.
