Fanny Hensel (1805 - 1847), the older sister of Felix Mendelssohn, is undoubtedly one of the most important composers of the 19th century, having written approximately 460 pieces.
Mélodie Op. 5, No. 4 comes from "Six mélodies pour le piano composées par Fanny Hensel née Mendelssohn-Bartholdy", which she published in Berlin in 1847.
