The Brooklyn Nets have now lost three straight games as they fall to the Western Conference leading Denver Nuggets by the final score of 108-102. Nets had no answer for the big three of the Nuggets as Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. all had 20+ points and Jokic had a triple double (22 points, 17 rebounds, 10 assists) on the game. Nets shot a dismal 12-35 (34.3%) from the three point line and the defense was uninspiring for the most part as they trailed by 22 at the beginning for the fourth quarter but rallied to cut the lead down to 7 before Denver sealed it with a couple big three’s by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Nets were lead by Mikal Bridges who scored 23 points but wasn’t as efficient shooting from the court. Nicolas Claxton scored 19 points and 8 rebounds while Cam Johnson who had an off night from the floor scored 14 points but was 1-6 from the three point line. Seth Curry gave the Nets a small spark off the bench scoring 12 points in 18 minutes but it wasn’t enough. Nets are now 39-32 on the season and lead the Miami Heat by 1.5 games for the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference and the Nets now have back to back games at home against the Cleveland Cavaliers Tuesday and Thursday as they will look to end this current three game losing streak they’re on heading into the last few games of the NBA season. #bkngamerecap #gamerecap #brooklynnets #denvernuggets #nbaseason #nbabasketball #netsbasketball #basketball #westernconference #wegohard #easternconference #atlanticdivision #nets #nygjeffyt85 #barclayscenter #newyorkcity #brooklyn #netsworld #netsnation #denver #colorado #bkn #nba #den #letsgonets #ny
