I've done one similar with beastial sling as the starter but I enjoy catch flame a lil more! If you time it correctly you can still chain cast blood flame talons after a jump cast of catch flame. Something I need to get better at! This is one of the stronger hybrid caster combos! The piercer is amazing and true combos after bloodflame talons
