John MacArthur was accused of slander because of some comments that he made during a recent Q and A at Grace Community Church. Christianity Today published an article during John MacArthur's Shepherd's Conference to make the claim that he is a slanderer because of comment that he made in reference to Martin Luther King Jr. and The Gospel Coalition. John MacArthur was asked about question about The Gospel Coalition and provided a response that Christianity Today and the author of the article took great issue with. The author of the article that Christianity Today published is Justin Giboney. The Editor in Chief at Christianity Today is the former president of the ERLC in the SBC, Russell Moore.
