The South African student who is leading the campaign to have the Cecil John Rhodes statue at Oxford University taken down has told the SABC that the institution's "racist and violent" attitudes are unacceptable in the 21st century. Ntokozo Qwabe's comments come as the university's Oriel College prepares to start a six month "listening exercise" to gather views on whether the statue should be removed.
