Before making his WWE Games debut as Umaga with Smackdown vs Raw 2007, Eddie Fatu made his second official video game appearance in Yuke's Wrestle Kingdom (2005). During that period, he was touring as a freelancer with All Japan Pro Wrestling where he racked up wins in the tag division, as well as dominating the Champion Carnival; but ultimately lose on marquee matches. He would leave AJPW and go back to the WWE by the time this game was released in Japan (December '05).
