📺 In this week's video, Jason Shapiro discusses an interesting chart that trading legend Larry Williams created as he reviewed historical stock market performance during re-election years and the path the market took historically the last 50+ years during that year, on average. Jason discusses the potential of a similar path with the Federal Reserve meeting coming up in March 2024 when pundits are forecasting the first rate cut and the market topping at that point. From there, the market continues to rally higher despite market participants belief that a recession is coming and 2024 is another bullish year. For the record, Jason does not believe in making forecasts one year out since so much can happen and it is rather silly to make trades (not investments) based on that time line. BUT, this chart is worth keeping an eye on, especially since it came from the successful trader Larry Williams.
