Strava is such an excellent tool for any activity. That said, when you jump into the weeds of these programs you realise there's much more to it than just hitting record and reviewing that activity afterwards. This little Strava hack is brilliant. It serves a crucial purpose. If you want to find your way around an area you cannot remember very well then this is perfect.
Strava routes is one of those features you may or may not know exists, but trust me - once you know how to use it you'll be all over it.
A chap called Dylan showed me this last year, and I've used it so many times since to retrace rides that I would have gotten lost otherwise.
Even better is the fact is only takes 5-10 mins and a few clicks. Trust me you'll soon be on your way.
Strava is a subscription based service these days for the top end features it offers. When I made this edit you could still do all of this on the free version. I hope that's the case still as I was unable to test it when the service changed. So you may get this method to work on the free version is what I'm saying.
So give it a blast and enjoy the routes you've ridden once again. I've got a couple more Strava Tips and tricks coming this year so keep an eye out. Enjoy
