바른정당 대선일 당일
We turn our attention to Presidential hopeful number 4 on the ballot, the conservative Bareun Party's Yoo Seong-min.
Lee Unshin is at the party's election headquarters
Unshin the polls have just closed.
What's the vibe there like?
Hi Daniel, some of the exit polls have come out, and despite his supporters hoping to see a double digits for Yoo Seong-min... he hasn't made it that high yet and is in fourth place.
Yoo had a rather busy election day.
He's been asking voters to make their votes count by supporting the candidate who aligns with their beliefs. And in response, his supporters are uploading pictures saying "I made my vote count today."
Earlier he cast his own vote in his hometown of Daegu, some 3-hundred kilometers southeast of Seoul.
He acknowledged the importance of this election and encouraged area residents to think carefully about who to support.
He then came back to the capital and thanked the the members of his conservative party and those who worked hard for the campaign.
Later, he dropped by the headquarters, thanking the press and everyone involved in the campaign... and even took some pictures with some of the reporters and his security detail.
At the moment he's said to be taking a break somewhere not too far from headquarters but we're expecting Yoo to make an appearance later in the evening when the poll results become a little more clear.
Daniel.
