Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech at the conference in honor of the 40th anniversary of the country's reform and opening-up at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on December 18. During the event, 100 Chinese and 10 foreign nationals were honored for their outstanding contributions to the country's reform and opening-up.
