One of Sun Valley's 7 operating McNeilus Meridian Front Loaders that are barely a month or two old. These units house McNeilus' NGEN (New Generation) CNG Systems, which is essentially identical to Heil's CNrG concept - both of which consist of compressed natural gas fuel tanks built in to the rear tailgate. Though the Merdian can be argued as having been designed too crafty and artsy which all the angles and excess metal on the exterior, it was nevertheless very neat to see one in action.
Fun Fact: This is the last model of the Peterbilt 320! Peterbilt has discontinued the 320 design and is now producing the 520. So, the next batch of these or any other Peterbilts to haulers will quite possibly be 520's.
Big thanks to the very friendly driver and his helper for letting me follow them around for a little bit!
