"You can't innovate if you don't change the way you think..." As part of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) 2022 Innovation in Safety Symposium, participants were given the opportunity to visit FSRI’s facility at the Delaware County Emergency Services Training Center to learn more about fire dynamics and witness a large-scale fire experiment as part of our “Impact of HVAC on Fire Patterns” project. Watch this video to hear from NFFF Director of Fire Programs John Tippett and Michigan State Fire Marshal Kevin Sehlmeyer share how FSRI’s research plays an important role in advancing fire safety and thier mission to honor and remember America’s fallen fire heroes, provide resources to assist their families in rebuilding their lives and work within the fire service community to reduce firefighter injuries and deaths.
We look forward to continuing our support of the NFFF and our collaborative work to advance our paralleled missions.
