Neil Leslie Diamond (born January 24, 1941) is an American singer and songwriter. He is known for songs such as "Sweet Caroline", "I Am... I Said", "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon", "Song Sung Blue", "Beautiful Noise" and "You Don't Bring Me Flowers", a duet with Barbra Streisand. He also acted in a 1980 film, The Jazz Singer, which gave him the hit "Love on the Rocks". He also wrote songs that became known for their performance by another artist, including "I'm a Believer" (The Monkees) and "Red Red Wine" (UB40).
