A DIY van conversion has a lots of different steps. And Every van builder brings different skills to the table. Some have lots of van building experience or maybe residential renovation experience and some have no experience at all. One of the most intimidating parts of the van build is the electrical system. Without knowledge the wiring of a van can be very scary. We’re afraid a mistake could cause a problem. And it could. But every van builder had to learn before they started their conversion or living van life. Small steps. In your van build you’ll have a number of different places that need electricity. It may be USB charge ports , RV lights that don’t require switches. It could be cigar plugs for larger 12 volt appliances such as a dometic CFX 95 cooler [ Ссылка ] or a 12 volt oven by road pro [ Ссылка ]. For all of these you’ll need to run wires inside van the walls and ceiling to provide poer when the time comes. First you need to know where the fuse box is going [ Ссылка ] then running the 16 gauge or 12 gauge wire to the places you need it.
