Karak chai or chai karak, or #karaktea is a very commonly consumed tea in the Gulf region of the Middle East. It is similar to the #masalachai of India, but with fewer spices. You could make a chai Karak with just tea, milk, and sugar.
Karak Chai is made with black loose tea leaves, crushed cardamom, saffron, and sugar. The key ingredient for the color and taste of Karak Tea is actually made with evaporated milk
