A Birmingham family have told how they fled in just their swimwear as flames engulfed their hotel on the holiday island of Rhodes. Their children were left hysterical amid terrifying scenes.
In shocking pictures, holidaymakers are seen in the pool and enjoying cocktails as a plume of smoke and the hint of red flames rears above their hotel in the five star Princess Adriana Resort and Spa in Kaitori. Some of its buildings were burnt to the ground soon after, including the kids club and sports facilities. Two other hotels on the hill have burned down.
