Last night (and a few times before) I heard this thundering bass echoing off the wall between our apartment and the neighbors' courtyard. Just past the garage there is a 3-foot setback from the wall, and the neighbor's cottage is only 30 feet from the alley. I understand you buy a subwoofer to "feel the bass" but this was at 11PM -- we have to sleep? If I can feel the bass that far away that seems that it could be a noise violation. Some people only care about themselves I guess. (Yeah I guess that's me too, but the opposite, I just want the quiet. Guess humans are all the same, LOL.)
I just confronted him today, yelled over the wall trying to be friendly...but I think I may have unleashed the fury, because here is the booming again. My apartment neighbors seem to deny hearing the sound. I asked him if he could be quiet after 11PM but my voice got all shaky and I felt totally beta-ish talking to him. Ugh.
You have to have on headphones to hear the low frequencies I think.
