(9 Jul 2019) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday joined hundreds of Bosnians to pay respects to the 33 newly identified bodies of Bosnian Muslims who were killed in the Srebrenica massacre in 1995.
The bodies were then taken by truck from Sarajevo to Srebrenica for a funeral that will happen on Thursday - the 24th anniversary of the massacre.
More than 8,000 men and boys were killed in and around the UN-protected enclave in July 1995.
The massacre was branded genocide by international courts.
So far, the remains of more than 6,600 people have been found and buried at a memorial centre near Srebrenica.
