Here's a puzzle: When we say a thing changes, we are referring to that same thing before and after the change; but change by definition means it is no longer the same. What can this mean? How can this be? How can a thing change and remain the same? In this video, I use a famous ancient puzzle called The Ship of Theseus to bring out exactly what this problem is.
