First review of the 2024 Lexus GX550 Overtrail with 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, low range and all-terrain tyres.
The Lexus GX is a luxury adaptation of the next-gen J250 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado platform. It will be coming to Australia and other markets.
There is a GX550 with a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol (260kW / 349hp) or a GX550h turbo-petrol hybrid V6 engine that won’t come down under just yet.
Rivals for the GX will be vehicles like the Land Rover Defender and Discovery, the Range Rover Sport, BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE and Volvo XC90.
