The largest and most famous pedestrian area is Aleksandrovska Street, the main street of Burgas. It starts at the city railway station and goes through the entire old city center towards Troikata Square. Beyond the square it continues and ends at the University of Burgas and San Stefano Boulevard. The total length of the street is about 1 km.
Aleksandrovska Street is quite wide and green; here you can always hide in the shade of trees from the hot summer sun. It has several nice fountains, sculptures, and ancient buildings. But in general, as it seemed to Masha Pasha, this street does not have any unique ancient historical buildings. An ordinary pedestrian street lined with houses of 2-3 floors. At its intersection with Bogoridi Street there is a small green park. There are many small shops, offices, and administrative buildings on this street. There are also restaurants, hotels and cafes here.
Bogoridi Street starts at Aleksandrovska Street and goes towards Seaside Park and city beach. This is a narrow street without a green area, a little noisier than Aleksandrovska. There are many restaurants and cafes here.
There are no large shops, hypermarkets or boutiques in the pedestrian center of Burgas. There are mainly small shops and stalls with goods of Bulgarian, Turkish and Chinese origin. Shopping is best done in shopping centers in Burgas.
