Welp, last week was a bummer! I caught a cold, felt physically exhausted and wound up just short of a mental breakdown. Luckily, my awesome wife and a good friend of mine helped ease my mind and reminded me that sometimes we all need to take a break. This made me realize that there are 4 tips for avoiding burnout that have always worked for me, yet I somehow have unconsciously stopped following them in the past 18 months (since right before Covid).
So, after taking a week off from EVERYTHING, including uploading to YouTube - something I haven't done in 3 years and was looong overdue - I figured why not get back into the swing of things with a video about my breakdown? :-) Maybe some of you are suffering from the same problem; going too hard for too long and getting burnt out. I hope these 4 tips help you out and remind you to slooow down sometimes and find some balance in your life before you breakdown too.
