The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a 4-year-old girl is dead following a crash on Interstate 77 in Tuscarawas County late Wednesday afternoon.
Officials say the wreck occurred just after 5:45 p.m. in Franklin Township, when the driver of a Honda Civic lost control of his car while headed north on the highway. The vehicle went off the left side of the road and hit the grassy median, where it flipped over.
Per authorities, the girl died from her injuries at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover. Her name has not yet been released.
