This is Ball Arena, formerly known as the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
First off I’d like to apologize for repeatedly mentioning that this sports venue used to be called Pepsi Arena…that was wrong, lol.
It was last called the PEPSI CENTER!!! I guess maybe I was a little sleepy when recording this video, my bad, hehehe.
Alright so this Ball Arena is home to the NBA’s Denver Nuggets and the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche. They share the arena.
For visiting here back at the end of July it was brutally hot in Denver, around 100 degrees! I just remember how uncomfortable it was to be outside, lol.
This Ball Arena…and I need to be honest about this….was the most plain vanilla and bland looking sports stadium I have ever seen!
Other than walking towards the entranceway and doors….there was no official sign stating that this was Ball Arena and home to the Nuggets or Avalanche!
Not only that, but there weren’t even any statues situated outside of the venue highlighting any of the former greats of either team!
The one and only statue that I noticed was of the Nuggets mascot, Rocky….lol, that was it.
So I took a picture with Rocky but honestly it felt unfulfilling.
Truly when I walked around the arena, it was a snooze fest with nothing worthwhile to film or take a picture of.
Anyhow here I was recording the complex at Ball Arena at least making it official that I had visited another professional sports center.
Btw, being here at Ball Arena isn’t located totally in the heart of downtown Denver….but it’s pretty close.
I’d say about 1 mile away from here was Coors Field, home to the MLB’s Colorado Rockies where that stadium was situated right in the middle of all the action of Denver.
This Ball Arena is just a short drive away.
And Empower Field at Mile High, home of the NFL’s Denver Broncos is also a quick ways away, worthy of checking out as well.
Overall, although I was pretty disappointed with the appearance of Ball Arena, at least I got to witness what it was like to be here even though I’ve never attended a game. In my book, that’s good enough to check off my To-Do List.
Hopefully in the future I can attend a basketball or hockey game here.
Alright this is Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado and home of the Nuggets and Avalanche!
