Bandits attacked a unit of the presidential brigade guards, killing at least three soldiers, suspected banditson Thursday nightattackeda military checkpoint around the Zuma Rock area, along the Abuja-Kaduna highway.
Eyewitnesses said the attack caused a serious gridlock where motorists were forced to abandon their vehicles and run for safety.
This attack also comes days after schools in the Federal Capital Territory were shut down due to the incessant attacks.
