Yoko Ono had bought this most desirable Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph at Tiffany & Co. on Fifth Avenue—the dial carries the vaunted co-signature at 6 o’clock—and she had it properly inscribed on the caseback to memorialize her gift to John Lennon: “(Just Like) Starting Over. Love, Yoko. 10•9•1980. N.Y.C.”
