Manja Motte - Makaat motte is an offbeat place, one of the best-kept secrets of Coorg wilderness. The scenic trail and naturalist paradise are ideal for nature lovers. It makes an ideal day hiking destination or for overnight camping under the star studded sky.

Hiking starts from Igguthappa temple. It takes around 5+ Kms to reach Manja Motte and 1+ Kms from there to reach Makaat Motte. One can spot many animals including Deer, elephants, varieties of butterflies, snakes. The 2 rivers get their birth here in this western ghats namely Kuppam River, Valapattanam River. Nelaji Camping and Trekking provides unique experience.

There is a option to stay in Cottages and tents near the foothills of the Trek.

Trek can be done in all season however it is advised to visit between Sep - Feb.
