Like all American Originals, this Stratocaster has been painstakingly recreated with accurate vintage specifications.
Its mint green pickguard and rosewood fingerboard gave the Strat a smoother overall tone and look when compared to the ‘50s models.
In addition to its pickguard color and fretboard changes, the American Original '60s Stratocaster has vintage-accurate body and neck radii, as well as authentic vintage hardware.
A six-point synchronized tremolo bridge, 9.5" radius fretboard, and thick "'60s C" neck profile provide the versatility and playability that made the Strat exceptional while staying true to the originals’ exceptional aura.
Three single-coil Pure Vintage '65 pickups give a more focused, mellow sound when compared to '50s Strats, furthering its tonal versatility.
The 1960s were a period of change for both culture and the Stratocaster, and this change is reflected in the American Original '60s Stratocaster's period-correct tone, feel, and aesthetics.
