It's not everyday we see slithery patients like this present to the Zoo's Wildlife Hospital. The Carpet Python had a stick in its side which was removed and then the python has been spending some time recovering in the Wildlife Hospital. The python received some supportive medication whilst in care to promote healing. It is very rare the Wildlife Hospital team sees a species like this, so it was great to see it recovering and it will be released back into the wild soon.
