Anyone can go on a binge diet and lose some weight.
It's not a particularly impressive feat, and hurts your health and your mind when you inevitably regain the fat a few months later.
What's more impressive is when someone loses fat and keeps it off for years and years.
I'm one such person, but there are actually thousands of others on record thanks to the National Weight Loss Control Registry, which tracks the traits of more than 10,000 people those who have lost at least 10% of their body weight and keep it off for at least a year.
Currently, the average member of the registry has lost an average of 67 pounds and kept it off for six years.
In this video we explore what traits these long-term weight loss success stories share, and how we can use them to succeed on a raw food diet, or any diet.
