Alright, so during the opening of Kingdom Hearts 0.2, we have a brief scene of Aqua facing Terranort and Vanitas-Ventus. One thing seems to have caused some sort of confusion. When Vanitas merged with Ventus in Birth by Sleep in order to forge the X-Blade, Ventus’s eyes changed to yellow. In the opening, we have blue eyes.
Of course, one might say it’s just a mistake. But, we’re talking about pre-rendered scenes, why would Square-Enix leave room for mistakes? Therefore, we believe that the blues eyes do in fact represent something.
Perhaps, the blue eyes could represent the fact that the merge in Birth By Sleep wasn't successful. When Vanitas merged with Ventus, the jaw piece disappeared and the eyes turned yellow. In the opening, we still have the jaw piece.
