The Finale of a Playthrough of MGS2 on the PS2 emulator PCSX2. After Raiden is captured, Solidus reveals that he was going to give Fortune and Dead Cell Arsenal Gear to draw the Patriots fire, while he would then go after them and hunt them down one by one using the info within GW - Arsenal's AI.
At this point Ocelot reveals that everything was setup by him and the Patriots for the S3 Plan - a program to artificially reproduce a soldier on par with Solid Snake - the Solid Snake Simulation, and that Shadow Moses and Solidus and Dead Cell were all selected for this task. He proceeds to kill Fortune, who as it turns out was being shielded using Electromagnetic Technology, but she herself is indeed Lady Luck as with her dying breath, she holds off Metal Gear RAY's attacks. He then escapes with Snake in pursuit after it turns out that Liquid via his implanted arm on Ocelot drew him out to reawaken him in order to destroy the Patriots. With this, Arsenal crashes into Lower Manhattan.
Atop Federal Hall, Raiden is contacted by another AI who tells him that the S3 Plan stands for Selection for Societal Sanity - A program used by the Patriots to manipulate world events, news, history as it sees fit, and the Big Shell Incident was its final test of its decision making. With this info, Raiden battles and kills his godfather, Solidus and he dies grasping at the George Washington Monument. After this, Snake reappears, telling him that he planted a tracker on RAY and that Raiden can't join Otacon and himself as he needs to keep himself alive for Olga's child's sake, and for Rose, his Girlfriend. He sneaks away as Raiden reconciles with Rose and promises to start anew, with her and the baby. And thus MGS2 is at an end.

And so, we reach the end of the PCSX2 Emulation Playthrough of MGS2. While there may be a few graphical glitches, weird slowdowns and speed ups in this final segment, and dodgy analog sensitivity in the final battle, it has been a smooth, incident-free playthrough, and I thank you for watching it. More videos will be made on MGS3, MGS2 and its VR missions, and if I can acquire an elgato, then MGS4 aswell.
