Legendary cellist and humanitarian Yo-Yo Ma joins the Kennedy Center to guide both the Center’s future programming and public engagement around the John F. Kennedy Centennial Celebration beginning in the Spring of 2016. As the Center honors its namesake, Ma will focus on public service and advocacy, fostering ideals associated with JFK: courage, freedom, justice, service and gratitude.
