Why I changed the stock handlebar on my Harley Davidson Iron 883N? I loved the look with the stock handlebar but my back hurt after about couple hours or riding. The reason I realized was that I was leaning forward to reach the handlebar and it was a natural sitting position. I decided to swap it with a mini ape hanger handlebar. It's 8.5 in rise handlebar so the grips are much closer to my chest and I do not have to lean as much forward anymore. I can now ride longer distance and for longer duration. I plan to post the videos of how I swapped the handlebar. Hope you subscribe and hit the bell button so you get notified when I post the handlebar swap videos.
Please note that most videos on Youtube are non-ABS motorcycles. My motorcycle has ABS. I had to research a lot so I did not trap air in the brake line. I will explain in future videos (coming soon) how I successfully performed brake bleeding.
Please stay healthy and safe.
