GiGi Guajardo is an award-winning performance poet, artist and social justice advocate. She was recently named the 2017 Albuquerque Women's Slam Poetry Champion. She is a two-time member of the Albuquerque Poetry Slam Team (2013, 2016) and was named a National Semi-Finalist and a Group Piece Champion at the National Poetry Slam in 2013 and 2016, respectively. She also spoke on the NM Senate Floor for Anti-Racism Day, and was a featured speaker at the Santa Fe Women's March. She strives to ultimately create social change through the arts.
