Timeline Trivia:
1. Due to the Franks never coming to power and consolidating a large part of Western Europe, the Europeans are unable to stop Islamic invasions into France.

2. As the Lombards were convinced to attack the Soissons instead of Italy, the Eastern Romans maintain their control over Italy, leading to a stronger Roman Empire.

3. Without the Frankish Empire, Paganism is still very common in Europe, other than the Soissons and Eastern Rome, the Germanic States are mostly Arian Christian and worship of the old gods is still common.

Video Details:
The history of the Kingdom of Soissons, more accurately, the Province of the Gauls, as it was in no way or shape an actual Kingdom, but was referred to as such by the surrounding Germanic neighbours. The Soissons is an anachronistic name for the Roman Exclave based in the city of Noviodunum (modern day Soisson), contemporary citizens of the exclave would've considered themselves Romans, and anything but a monarchy.

The video depicts the fall of the Western Roman Empire and the events that transpired to lead to the creation of the "Kingdom", from the fall of Western Rome and the renouncement of legitimacy by the Byzantines. The video depicts the consolidation against the Franks, the expansion to all of former Gaul, then the eventual collapse due to conflict with Eastern Rome and the Lombards, until the eventual demise to the hands of Islamic invaders.
