Our first attempt at Fly Fishing the Upper Deschutes River after the infamous “Cranebow” a Rainbow Trout that got its name because of its massive size and due to the fact that it is caught out of Crane Prairie Reservoir and the Upper Deschutes River that’s runs into and out of the Reservoir. Although we did not catch one of these spectacular fish on this trip, it was still a successful fishing trip with Ryan catching his first Brook Trout.
