Before becoming central to what was known as "the trial of the century," O.J. Simpson grew up in the Bay Area, coming from modest beginnings. He gained international fame both for his remarkable achievements and a legacy stained by events that many describe as a "real-life drama." In 1995, Simpson faced trial for the murder of his former wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and Ronald Goldman. During this highly publicized case, he was defended by a group of prominent lawyers known as "The Dream Team," which included Robert Shapiro, Johnnie Cochran, and Robert Kardashian, among others. The case stirred a wide range of emotions during the trial and again recently following his death.
