I am building a model steam engine for the first time. These 2 steam engine kits were donated to me by the Oregon Home Machinist group (Now disbanded). They sold these kits as away to raise funds for the group.
I have never built a model steam engine so I thought this would be a great starter into the model side of machining. So why not 2 kits at once.
They are both wobble type engines one horizontal cylinder and one vertical cylinder.
I modeled both steam engines in Fusion 360 for complete viewing and animation of all the parts working together. This is a fantastic way to visualize the project and understand the full assembly and how it works.
