Lawnmower Blenny: Got an ALGAE problem? This is one of the best fish choices for controlling filamentous algae and diatoms. Unlike some other blennies the Salarias fasciatus is not a threat to corals or clams but some individuals may nip an occasional SPS coral. What I find fascinating is that our store they get along famously with Tailspot Blennies. It is not advised to keep this fish with Seahorses since they may constantly try to clean them. The Lawn Mower Blenny maxes out at 5 inches and requires at least a 55 gallon tank with a natural supply of algae so they can forage for food. This is a peaceful very easy care level reef-safe fish
