After an acclaimed off-Broadway engagement at Atlantic Theater Company, David Yazbek and Itamar Moses's musical ''The Band's Visit'' is on its way to Broadway. Set in the Middle East, the success of ''The Band's Visit'' surprised everyone, from its creators to its cast, led by Tony Shalhoub and Katrina Lenk, and promises to introduce Broadway to a new sound. At a recent press event at the Strand rare book room, the ''Band's Visit'' family gave us a preview.
