Gautam Gambhir has been appointed as the new head coach of Team India, replacing Rahul Dravid. BCCI secretary Jay Shah confirmed the news on social media. Gambhir emerged as the frontrunner for the role after being interviewed by BCCI's Cricket Advisory Committee. He recently completed his farewell video for Kolkata Knight Riders after guiding them to their third title triumph in the 2024 Indian Premier League.
