'Zoom' Video Conference - 20 March 2019 - Extinction Rebellion

In this online Zoom Call, some core XR organisers with the wonderful Paul Engler, director of the Centre for The Working Poor and author of This is An Uprising to discuss social movements growth and how that changes in international examples. Paul outlines a number of the key function for social movement growth and strength- looking at the case studies of Optor and others. He opens up the topic of a meta-narrative and what this might look like for XR. The call dives into points around intersectionality, creating a global movement, paid staffers and disrupting the public.
