Lil Wayne says he was the first to say BLING BLING....but he wasn't! 2pac died in 1996...and before he died....he made a song called, 'Let's Be Friends' where he clearly ad libbed the words 'Bling Bling' to express the sound of diamonds.
Although Lil Wayne made it a hot song, 2pac was the first to speak the words Bling Bling in a song. This video is because I keep hearing Lil Wayne take credit for 'Bling Bling,' when in all actuality Great Minds think alike and we have to understand that nothing is new under the sun. Somebody definitely said it and did it before you. A dead man can't speak, but I'll speak for him in this case.
