A short video outlining that when it comes to prusiks there isn't a one size fits all rule with regards to diameter! The cord diameter and material will need to be selected depending on the intended use. But certainly the myth that all prusiks must be 50% the diameter of the rope, just isnt true.
4mm - Gear (rope protectors etc)
5mm - General Climbing / rescue bits
6mm-8mm - Rigging (prusik tending pulleys etc)
9mm-12mm - Arb work
