Jan Compton, Chief Patient Safety Officer at Baylor Scott & White Health, joins the patient safety movement in the push for zero. After an article was published in a popular journal about high risk surgeries in low volume hospitals, Baylor Scott & White organized a leadership committee to analyze high-risk procedures in order to identify what needed to change to prevent error.
